Reading of the will

Challenging A Will

If you’re involved with a challenge to a Will, you need a specialist lawyer by your side who empathises with the sensitivities and understands the finer details of the law.

Effectively managing your interests in the challenge of a Will takes an expert lawyer who knows the legislation inside out. With Antunes you’ll have the finest talent on your team.   If there’s doubt about mental capacity, undue influence, or there is suspicion of fraud or forgery, challenging a Will may be the next step for you or anyone else named as beneficiaries or trustees. If that happens, there are no guarantees, so you should get any action right first time.

When it comes to challenging Wills, the Antunes Lawyers philosophy is that no stone should be left unturned in the action we take to ensure that what you want to happen, happens. Taking the time to understand everything behind the challenge is what we do, and we’re here to help you.

Talk to an expert in challenging Wills.

Talk to Antunes

If there’s a challenge to a Will, Antunes has the expertise you need.

Challenging a Will is a big step with a significant burden of proof on whoever is challenging, and formidable legislative protections in place to uphold a legally prepared Will. So, whatever the issue and whatever your involvement, it pays to have specialists in the field looking after you.

Did the deceased lack mental capacity at the time they made their Will? Was the deceased unduly influenced in the making of their Will? Is there suspicion of fraud or forgery? If any of these questions are being asked in the challenging of a Will, Antunes will help you answer them.

When it comes to challenging Wills, we know what to do next.

  • Mental Capacity
  • Fraud Suspicions
  • Undue Influence
  • Forgery Allegations
